About The Position

XYZ Reality is the creator of the world's first and only engineering-grade Augmented Reality solution, specifically designed for the construction industry. Our technology, integrated into The Atom smart headset/hardhat, is used on projects to ensure they are completed within delivery timescales and budgets. XYZ has grown to over 100 staff across the UK, US & Europe and collaborates with Mission Critical organizations and construction companies on major projects. The Site Engineer role is crucial for delivering XYZ Reality’s core service on construction projects. This involves tracking construction progress against BIM models, conducting quality inspections on-site, and submitting findings to clients via the XYZ platform. The ideal candidate will have practical construction experience and be adept at adopting XYZ Reality’s technology and workflows.

Requirements

Experience working on construction sites.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Comfortable working with digital tools and software platforms.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment.
Basic IT Skills (Microsoft Suite).
Must have a clean criminal record.
Willing to undergo background checks and drugs tests due to security requirements of the projects we work on.

Responsibilities

Track construction progress against BIM models using XYZ’s Augmented Reality Device – The Atom.
Conduct on-site quality inspections and raise observations on the XYZ Platform.
Ensure these QA Issues are submitted to the client on a daily basis.
Be responsible for the quality of your work ensuring that it follows outlined workflows and standards.
Maintain high levels of data accuracy and reporting standards.
Collaborate with other engineers on-site to ensure full coverage of the project.
Support the Lead Engineer in maintaining operational standards.
