About The Position

XYZ Reality is seeking a Site Engineer to deliver their core service on construction projects. This involves tracking construction progress against BIM models, conducting on-site quality inspections, and submitting findings through the XYZ platform. The role requires individuals with practical construction experience who can quickly adopt XYZ Reality’s technology and workflows. XYZ Reality provides the world's first engineering-grade Augmented Reality solution for the construction industry, utilizing AR technology within their smart, site-safe headset/hardhat, The Atom, to ensure projects are completed within delivery timescales and budgets. The company has grown to over 100 staff across the UK, US & Europe and works with major organizations and construction companies on significant projects.

Requirements

• Experience working on construction sites.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Comfortable working with digital tools and software platforms.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment.
• Basic IT Skills (Microsoft Suite).
• A clean criminal record.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and drugs tests due to security requirements of the projects.

Responsibilities

• Track construction progress against BIM models using XYZ’s Augmented Reality Device – The Atom.
• Conduct on-site quality inspections and raise observations on the XYZ Platform.
• Ensure these QA Issues are submitted to the client on a daily basis.
• Be responsible for the quality of your work ensuring that it follows outlined workflows and standards.
• Maintain high levels of data accuracy and reporting standards.
• Collaborate with other engineers on-site to ensure full coverage of the project.
• Support the Lead Engineer in maintaining operational standards.
