About The Position

Boys and Girls Club of the Pikes Peak Region is looking for a full-time Site Director. Kids Club 360 is looking for an energetic and motivated person to manage a licensed site within our Kids Club 360 locations, DBA of the Boys & Girls Club of the Pikes Peak Region. Kids Club 360 provides amazing opportunities and programs for our members; Kids Club 360 needs someone who is as excited as our organization to make a positive impact in their lives.

Requirements

  • Must have one of the following state licensing requirements - a four (4) year college degree with a major such as recreation, education with a specialty in art, elementary or early childhood education, or a subject in the human service field.
  • Two years of college training and six (6) months of satisfactory and verifiable full-time or equivalent part-time, paid or volunteer, experience, since attaining the age of eighteen (18), in the care and supervision of 4 or more children.
  • Three years of satisfactory and verifiable full-time or equivalent part-time, paid or volunteer, experience, in the care and supervision of four (4) or more children.
  • The program director must complete six (6) semester hours, nine (9) quarter hours in course work from a regionally accredited college or university, or forty (40) clock hours of training in course work applicable to school-age children within the first nine (9) months of employment.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test (Including Marijuana) and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Manage staff and ensure that appropriate interactions are happening between children and staff.
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings to keep staff up to date on organizational information and complete quarterly staff evaluations.
  • Documentation/reporting of attendance to the Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist and Director of Operations.
  • Collect and keep accurate records of payments/charges and communicate with both parents and the AR Specialist.
  • Make sure that programs and activities are being run and documented on a weekly bases and a monthly site report is completed and turned in to the Director of Operations.
  • Attend training sessions and staff development workshops that are required to obtain and maintain national accreditation while meeting all Colorado State Licensing requirements.
  • Submit to fingerprinting and a criminal background check; complete training provided by our organization in CPR, First Aid, Medications Administration, and Universal Precautions.
  • All employees upon job acceptance must submit to a criminal background check, and ongoing background checks throughout employment.
  • Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
