About The Position

The Site Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the program, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children aged 5-12. This role involves working cooperatively with youth, parents, staff, and community organizations, while also adhering to state licensing regulations for Group Day Care Centers.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Meet state requirement for Child Care Teacher (currently 6 credits of Education or related field pertaining to working with School-Age children).
• Provide proof of First Aid/CPR/AED Certification.
• Provide current Wisconsin certificate from The Registry with level 7 or higher.
• Completed Shaken Baby Syndrome Training.
• Completed Mandated Reporter Training.
• Completed School-Age Curricular Framework.
• Experience working with children.
• Basic math, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn state licensing childcare regulations and procedures for Group Day Care Centers.
• Ability to work cooperatively with youth, parents, staff and community organizations.
• Ability to work independently.
• Background check cannot contain offenses restricted by state law.
