PRAIRIE LANE SCHOOL- SITE DIRECTOR
About The Position
This position supports the work of the YMCA, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The School Age Site Director shall oversee the planning, implementing, supervising, and evaluating of daily recreational activities to provide adventure, enjoyment and develop social skills and interests in the children. Additionally, ensures that programs are provided in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Kenosha YMCA and the licensing regulations of the State of Wisconsin. The School Age Site Director will follow child abuse prevention policies, complete required training, maintain appropriate boundaries, and comply with mandated reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Participate in YMCA trainings.
- Required to keep First Aid, CPR and AED Certificate current.
- Complete 15 hours of continuing education in a year.
- Must maintain state requirements for Center Director for 50 or fewer children.
- Provide current Wisconsin certificate from The Registry with level 7 or higher.
Responsibilities
