The Department of Mental Health's Southeast Area is seeking a dynamic individual to provide leadership, direction and management of the Quincy Site to ensure that all DMH funded services (state and contracted) are clinically driven, comprehensive and meet the needs of individuals served by DMH. On an ongoing basis, Manager assesses, problem-solves, and reports on programmatic and systemic issues that impact the delivery of quality mental health services within the Quincy Site. Manages contracts for Adult Community Clinical Services, Program for Assertive Community Treatment, Clubhouse and Respite. Works closely with acute and continuing care inpatient facilities to facilitate discharge to community services. Manager develops and maintains necessary systems within the Site to ensure that there is ongoing and effective management of risk as well as active utilization management and utilization review of all services. Through supervision with staff and regular staff meetings, Manager promotes and supports the understanding of Site staff of the importance of person-centered, family driven services that expand access to care, support improved health outcomes and provide opportunities for increasing self-sufficiency for all individuals served by DMH. Manager demonstrates a clear understanding of and commitment to providing culturally competent services and hiring a diverse workforce. Manager ensures ongoing discussion with staff as well as through training, the value of a diverse workforce and importance of responsiveness and sensitivity to individuals of diverse ethnic, cultural or economic backgrounds. Recruits members for and supports a Site Advisory Board. Maintains effective partnerships with other state agencies as well as community organizations and local government including district courts, local police departments, Community Behavioral Health Centers and Emergency Services. Supports outreach activities to further community awareness of mental health services. The Quincy DMH site ensures access to services and supports to meet the mental health needs of individuals of all ages; enabling them to live, work and participate in their communities. The goal of adult case management services is to support individuals receiving treatment so that they may recover and thrive in their communities. The Quincy case management site always aspires to create an environment which promotes growth and independence for clients, families, and employees alike. The Department of Mental Health, as the State Mental Health Authority, assures and provides access to services and supports to meet the mental health needs of individuals of all ages, enabling them to live, work and participate in their communities.
