About The Position

Are you looking for a fun job working with kids that fits your schedule? After school position in a public elementary school that follows the school calendar.

Requirements

• Enjoys working with school age children
• Comfortable working in a structured school setting
• Must be at least 21 years old
• CDA (Child Development Associate)
• CCP (Child Care Professional)
• Montessori certification
• National Administrator Credential (NAC)
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early childhood education or Related field

Nice To Haves

• Experience is helpful but not required
• at least 2 years of experience in: Early childhood OR School-age/out-of-school time setting?
• at least 1 year of experience in early childhood or school-age care?

Responsibilities

• Being part of a fun, welcoming after-school space for kids
• Helping kids build friendships through games and activities
• Being a positive influence on the children’s afternoon
