About The Position

The Site Cyber Security Leader is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving the site's cybersecurity strategy and action plans. This role strengthens the site's cybersecurity posture by building organizational capability, driving risk reduction, promoting cybersecurity awareness, and ensuring alignment with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements. The Site Cyber Security Leader serves as the primary site point of contact for cybersecurity incidents, supports response and recovery activities, and partners with business, operational, and technical teams to create a resilient and secure operating environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the site's cybersecurity strategy and action plan.
  • Drive continuous improvement of cybersecurity controls, processes, and risk management practices.
  • Partner with enterprise cybersecurity teams to implement standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Support cybersecurity incident response, investigation, recovery, and lessons-learned activities.
  • Lead site governance, risk management, compliance, and cybersecurity assessment activities.
  • Ensure sustainable execution of cybersecurity programs and regulatory requirements.
  • Create a visible and sustainable culture of cybersecurity awareness across the site.
  • Help employees understand not only security requirements, but also the business impact behind them.
  • Translate cybersecurity standards into practical, user-friendly solutions that encourage adoption.
  • Lead awareness campaigns, workshops, training sessions, and capability-building activities.
  • Make cybersecurity approachable, relevant, and actionable for all employees.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to teams across the site.
  • Build organizational capability through coaching, mentoring, and hands-on support.
  • Partner with leaders to strengthen ownership and accountability for cybersecurity expectations.
  • Develop strong partnerships across operations, engineering, digital, information technology, and technical teams.
  • Influence without direct authority to drive alignment and action.
  • Build credibility through expertise, collaboration, and consistent execution.
