About The Position
Our Site Controller leads all Accounting, Finance, and Business Analytic activities for a large e-commerce facility, dedicated to one Customer. This high visibility position reports to the Site Director and has heavy customer interaction.
Requirements
- Minimum 10-15 years prior Finance or Accounting experience, required
- Strong systems skills - Oracle and Essbase, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and other Web Development Languages, required
- Strong analytical skills with ability to make recommendations for action
- Strong people skills - ability to lead a team and build relationships with various functions
- Must enjoy working in an intense, fast paced, and sometimes ambiguous environment
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a logistics, manufacturing or warehousing business, preferred
Responsibilities
- Work independently, while leading a functional team of associates
- Lead interactions with Senior Leadership from both DHL and Customer
- Create and get approval for DHL and Customer budgets, rolling forecast, and capital expenditure requirements
- Be responsible for labor planning and management
- Provide actionable insight based on analysis of volume and profile
- Have oversight for Month End Close, Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Ensure compliance with customer contract and service levels
- Drive continuous improvement principles to optimize cost and efficiency
- Be empowered to make decisions for the site
