About The Position

CSL Seqirus is a leading global vaccine company, committed to protecting public health through innovation, operational excellence, and strong partnerships. They are seeking an experienced communications leader to join their Global Communications team as Site Communications Lead – Holly Springs, a newly created role supporting their manufacturing site during a pivotal period of transformation. This role provides dedicated, on‑site communications leadership, partnering closely with the Site Head, VP Manufacturing and Site Leadership Team. The successful candidate will drive employee engagement, translate global strategy into local impact, and lead communications, reputation, and community engagement in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. CSL Seqirus is part of CSL, one of the largest influenza vaccine providers globally, contributing significantly to influenza prevention and pandemic preparedness. With state-of-the-art production facilities in the U.S., the U.K., and Australia, CSL Seqirus offers a broad portfolio of differentiated influenza vaccines in over 20 countries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
• 8+ years' communications experience including communications program/people management, in product or corporate communications/ public relations
• Experience across internal and external communications, ideally in manufacturing, pharma, biotech, or similarly regulated industries
• Proven experience advising senior leaders in matrixed organizations
• Strong capability in change, issues, and crisis communications
• Exceptional writing, editorial judgment, and stakeholder‑management skills
• Experience leading communications for manufacturing, R&D, or operational sites in US
• Experience managing communications/teams within a global environment
• Pharma/Biotech or similarly regulated environment experience
• Ability to create end-to-end compelling content
• Demonstrated ability to be effective in a highly matrixed organization
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments
• Creative vision and a passion for storytelling, with a keen eye for detail and quality
• Strong stakeholder management
• Expertise in change management communications within complex, multinational environments
• Willingness to travel to other company sites within CSL globally

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary communications partner to the Holly Springs Site Leadership Team
• Develop and deliver an integrated site communications strategy aligned with global CSL Seqirus frameworks
• Lead employee engagement initiatives, including town halls, leadership forums, and site visits
• Strengthen site reputation through local media relations, community engagement, and external partnerships
• Lead site‑level issues and crisis communications in coordination with global teams
• Ensure high‑quality, compliant content across internal and external channels
• Use insights and metrics to continuously improve communication effectiveness
