About The Position

Dewberry is currently seeking a Site/Civil Project Engineer in our Parsippany, NJ; Mount Laurel, NJ; or King of Prussia, PA offices. The Project Engineer will perform a variety of civil engineering functions in support of a growing, multi-disciplinary site development design group. The Project Engineer must be flexible, technologically savvy and client focused. Requirements

BS degree in Civil Engineering.
PE is required.
5-10 years of progressive design experience directly related to site/civil development projects in the PA and/or NJ areas.
Experience in Stormwater Management Design techniques
Working knowledge of NJ and/or PA land development permitting and approval processes
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D
Driving is a requirement of the position.
A clean driving record is required.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of civil engineering functions in support of a growing, multi-disciplinary site development design group.
Learn and become proficient in Dewberry engineering practices and standards, and other Dewberry-specific software programs.
Supports Practice Leads and Management.
Meets project and client deadlines.
Works in a timely fashion to meet project budgets.
Prepares graphics, exhibits, site/civil construction plans and specifications.
Communicates effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, and county/agency review staff.
Composes technical reports, permit documents, memorandums and other written communication such as email.
Handles multiple concurrent projects.
Other duties as required.
