About The Position

Dewberry is currently seeking a Site/Civil Project Engineer in our Parsippany, NJ; Mount Laurel, NJ; or King of Prussia, PA offices. The Project Engineer will perform a variety of civil engineering functions in support of a growing, multi-disciplinary site development design group. The Project Engineer must be flexible, technologically savvy and client focused. Requirements

  • BS degree in Civil Engineering.
  • PE is required.
  • 5-10 years of progressive design experience directly related to site/civil development projects in the PA and/or NJ areas.
  • Experience in Stormwater Management Design techniques
  • Working knowledge of NJ and/or PA land development permitting and approval processes
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D
  • Driving is a requirement of the position.
  • A clean driving record is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of civil engineering functions in support of a growing, multi-disciplinary site development design group.
  • Learn and become proficient in Dewberry engineering practices and standards, and other Dewberry-specific software programs.
  • Supports Practice Leads and Management.
  • Meets project and client deadlines.
  • Works in a timely fashion to meet project budgets.
  • Prepares graphics, exhibits, site/civil construction plans and specifications.
  • Communicates effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, and county/agency review staff.
  • Composes technical reports, permit documents, memorandums and other written communication such as email.
  • Handles multiple concurrent projects.
  • Other duties as required.
