About The Position
Engineering firm is seeking an experienced Senior Site Civil Engineer to complement their fast growing team in their Youngstown office! The role involves taking a leadership position on projects from the initial due diligence phase through to construction, mentoring junior staff, and performing various design and drafting tasks for a range of projects including retail, commercial, residential, and municipal developments. This includes site grading, storm water management calculations, and storm sewer design.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Nice To Haves
- Proficient in Pond Pack and Hydraflow
- P.E. registration
- Experience with site development documents and permitting
Responsibilities
- Design/draft engineering plans for various projects including retail, commercial, residential and municipal developments
- Perform site grading, storm water management calculations, and storm sewer design
- Take leadership role of project from due diligence through construction
- Coordinate execution of projects
- Mentor/train junior staff
