About The Position
Dewberry is seeking an Entry Level Site / Civil Engineer to join their Site / Civil department in Parsippany, NJ. The role involves working on various projects for clients in the commercial and renewable energy sectors. Typical projects include site/civil design for residential, commercial, and industrial site development, as well as capital improvement projects. Requirements
- B.S. in Civil Engineering required
- 0 - 4 years of experience
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft office is required
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Previous internship experience preferred
- Solar Experience as a plus
Responsibilities
- Site/civil development including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design.
- Preparation of all associated calculations, reports and spreadsheets.
- Working on design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
- May also conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting.
