Site Civil Engineer Intern (Summer 2027)
About The Position
Woolpert is hiring a Site Civil Engineer Intern to join their dynamic Civil Engineering team. This internship is a full-time position, working 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday during standard working hours (9am-5pm). The role involves designing and creating site layout plans, utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D for concept plans, grading plans, and site designs. A strong interest in hydrology and stormwater management is required, along with the ability to multitask and work with the project management team to identify and solve obstacles. Duties also include performing pavement assessments and compiling data and reports. Applicants must possess work authorization in the country the job is located, as visa sponsorship is not provided.
Requirements
- Candidates should be pursuing BS in Civil Engineering.
- Zero (0) to two (2) years related experience.
- Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D
- Proven ability to multi-task, appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasks.
- Strong interest and working knowledge in hydrology and stormwater management.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Hydraulics and Hydrology preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and create site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and Woolpert standards.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
- Perform pavement assessments and compiling data and reports.
- Work with project management team to identify impediments and develop / implement solutions to overcome obstacles.
- Other duties as assigned.
