About The Position

Syensqo is seeking a Site Change Leader to focus on incremental and breakthrough changes, collaboration with GBU Operational Excellence teams for best practices sharing, lean six sigma training and coaching to the organization, and ensuring that state-of-the-art lean methodologies are applied in all projects to achieve optimum production performance. This role involves identifying, proposing, defining, managing, and/or participating in transformational projects.

Requirements

  • BS degree; BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering preferred
  • 5+ years of experience managing continuous improvement projects
  • The ability to reduce waste and achieve similar continuous improvement objectives in a manufacturing setting with quantifiable results
  • Working knowledge of Composite/ Textile /Adhesives manufacturing a plus
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or working towards the certification preferred
  • Analytical expertise
  • The proven ability to develop continuous improvement processes, and create a quality management culture
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence people
  • Coaching and training expertise
  • Knowledgeable of Change Management principles and track record of successful implementations of complex projects
  • Strong attention to detail and navigate complex, safety sensitive problem/areas
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to create strong relationships and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Must be a US citizen or have Permanent Resident status
  • Must be able to obtain a valid US Passport and pass a background check

Responsibilities

  • Establish project priorities and site improvement goals
  • Manage project resources
  • Ensure that staff is properly trained to manage projects, and monitor the use of the appropriate methodologies and toolboxes to support the Change Agents in their projects
  • Create a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Monitor project completion and results
  • Collect and analyze manufacturing performance data
  • Contribute to the development of the project objectives
  • Design and manage and, when necessary, update the implementation plan
  • Inform and instruct the site leadership about the project objectives, KPI’s, methodology and tools
  • Pilot and supervise project activities
  • Define / develop and implement systems, programs, processes, SOPs and tools in coherence with the implementation plan
  • Track ME results
