About The Position

The Day/Evening Site Caregiver is a key member of the Care & Support and Concierge teams. This role provides supportive, relationship-based care to residents while helping promote their safety, independence, comfort, and overall well-being.

Requirements

CNA experience/license preferred.
Caring, dependable, and professional approach to resident support.
Strong communication and observation skills.
Ability to remain calm and responsive during emergencies.
Ability to work independently while being a dependable member of the community team.
Commitment to treating every resident with dignity, respect, and compassion.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, visible, and supportive assistance to residents throughout the community.
Complete daily wellness checks and respond promptly to resident needs and emergency calls.
Escort residents to meals, programs, appointments, and other areas of the community.
Provide gentle cueing, orientation, and support to residents with cognitive concerns.
Assist residents with mobility needs, including wheelchairs, walkers, and canes.
Help residents with basic technology and community resources.
Monitor common areas and conduct routine safety and security checks.
Respond appropriately to falls, medical emergencies, fire alarms, missing persons, and other safety concerns.
Communicate concerns to the appropriate leadership or emergency personnel.
Maintain accurate documentation of resident interactions, safety concerns, and follow-up needs.
Assist with general community needs, including event setup, laundry, and maintaining shared spaces.
Provide a clear handoff to incoming staff at the end of each shift.
