About The Position
Redwood Waste Solutions, Inc., a Waste Connections company, has an immediate opening for a Site Attendant out of their South Coast Transfer Station in Gualala, CA! This role involves greeting customers, directing traffic, overseeing daily tasks, handling cash, assessing loads, ensuring material appropriateness, and general site cleanup. Requirements
- At least 2+ years of work experience, preferably in a customer service type position
- The ability to lift up to 75 pounds in this labor-intensive position
- Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
- Ability to stand on your feet throughout an 8 to 10 hour shift
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating equipment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers as they enter the transfer station, directing them where to go
- Overseeing daily tasks throughout the site, ensuring the transfer station is running smoothly
- Cash handling
- Assessing loads/material for payment at the scale house
- Ensuring all material entering the transfer station is appropriate
- Traffic directing to ensure customers park in the correct area at the transfer station
- Cleaning equipment - sweeping/power washing
- General site cleanup as needed
- Friendly customer service
