About The Position

Supports the Site Coordinator in the implementation and daily operation of the YMCA Reads/Bright Pathways after-school program serving up to 32 students - assisting with literacy instruction, academic support, structured enrichment, student supervision, attendance monitoring, and program operations. Scheduled hours align with each school's dismissal time across the same 32-week program cycle.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to assist with literacy instruction
• Ability to provide academic support
• Ability to facilitate structured enrichment activities
• Ability to supervise students
• Ability to monitor attendance
• Ability to support program operations

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children in an after-school setting
