About The Position

The Doe Run Company is seeking a Site Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to assigned mining and milling sites, including data entry, reporting, scheduling, communications, travel coordination, and office management. This position is based out of our Brushy Creek Mine in Boss, MO.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative or customer services role
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Invoicing/AP (DataServ), I-Series, ERP (PeopleSoft), HRIS (UKG), and Maintenance Management Systems.

  • Proven knowledge of office management practices preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry to track site operations and support activities to include all departments operating at the site.
  • Generate and distribute reports to stakeholders including, but not limited to preventive maintenance, production reports, truck shipments, and inventory reports.
  • Schedule and organize site events, such as training, tours or meetings. Manage the calendar for meeting rooms and assist in preparation, set up, and tear down.
  • Order office supplies and manage mail delivery and deliveries between sites.
  • Onboard and offboard employees to and from the site by ensuring resources, equipment, and supplies are assigned to employees, transferred to the site, or retrieved from the employee, to include site training, PPE, lockers, uniforms, and training files.
  • Provide customer service to employees, leaders, vendors, or other visitors, distributing materials and information and directing them to appropriate resources, departmental contacts, online resources, or forms and information. Ensure bulletin boards are maintained.
  • Complete tasks in a safe and environmentally compliant manner by following EHS (environmental, health and safety) policies, procedures and best practices; support and assist peers in working in a safe, compliant manner; report unsafe acts or conditions, incidents, and deviations; and provide feedback to support continuous improvement in EHS performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
