About The Position

The Single Ply Cutter is responsible for operating the Pathfinder machine to cut prototypes, reference samples, and size sets. This includes any necessary additions such as recuts of damaged or missing pieces and mock-ups. The role also involves maintaining raw material inventory (both vendor-ordered and warehouse transfers) using Microsoft suites, Teams, and other new technologies. Additionally, the position is accountable for the maintenance of the Single Ply Cutter Machine in collaboration with facility mechanics. Upkeep of the fabric wall, auto-cutting area, and the auto-cutter procedural manual is paramount. The individual is expected to collaborate daily with other team members.

Requirements

Knowledge of pattern pieces, notches, and drill holes.
Experience with different types of fabric to recognize the right side and thread direction.
Capable of working with scissors and vertical knife cutter.
Attention to detail.
Good understanding of numbers.
Strong communication skills.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to troubleshoot independently.
Required to read a Tech Pack.
Able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
