In this role, the Simulator Technician I will be expected to perform routine technical tasks on site, in the field, or in a laboratory. This position involves receiving training in the various phases of laboratory, office, plant, or field technical work. The technician will learn and perform preventive maintenance on simulators and associated systems, assist in diagnosing and resolving issues, and utilize the maintenance management system for tracking activities. Key responsibilities include completing assigned training, performing pre-flight and post-flight checks, conducting basic visual alignments, executing automated Qualification Test Guide (QTG) processes, supporting refurbishment initiatives, learning and adhering to CAE's quality management system, providing customer service, performing housekeeping duties, handling logistics such as parts receipt and repair coordination, and completing administrative tasks. The role also involves supporting the technical services group as needed.
