About The Position

The F-15 T2 Training Services Program is looking for a highly motivated and team-oriented Simulator Technician (Experienced or Senior) to join our team in Berkeley, Missouri. This role involves supporting full flight simulation and maintenance simulation using multiple unique training devices. The technician will support training staff, ensure all training equipment functions correctly, and maintain mission-effective, compliant, and safe training conditions and operations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in aircraft flight simulator training device maintenance, or experience in aircraft avionics / electronics or computer network and information systems.
  • COMP TIA Security + Certification
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team to repair/test, install, upgrade and assist in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software.
  • Experience collaborating with a cross-functional team.
  • Understanding of Windows operating systems and computing networks.
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • Requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience. (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
  • Hardware and IT background experience.
  • Experience on commercial or military grade flight simulators and training device support equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the F-15 USAF Full Mission Trainers and Integrated Virtual Maintenance Trainers with associated visual and computer systems to support flight and maintenance training.
  • Perform complex inspections, troubleshooting, repairing, modifying and advising on pre-operations, post-operations and electronic, electrical, and mechanical component handling of training devices as required.
  • Assist with repairs and tests, installs, configures, upgrades and assists in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software.
  • Perform logistical, administrative, and other collateral duties as necessary to maintain the training devices.
  • Assist engineers in troubleshooting systems and configuring support equipment.
  • Assist instructors/aircrews during scheduled training missions, installations and future upgrades.
  • Support process and procedure documentation for performance reviews, calibration updates, and platform metrics.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks when under pressure, and to resolve competing demands on time to deliver results without compromising technical or program integrity.
  • Work under minimal supervision.
