Holtec International is seeking applicants for the role of Simulator Design Engineer III. This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of software used in the SMR-300 simulator. The Simulator Design Engineer III will apply industry best practices, regulatory guidance, codes and standards, and engineering expertise to support control strategy development and simulator-assisted design activities. The engineer will be part of a dynamic team executing a U.S. Government cost-shared development program, requiring efficient completion of engineering assignments. The Simulator Engineer III will support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of nuclear power plant simulators. The ideal candidate will have experience in real-time simulation, thermo-hydraulic modeling, and control system integration. This role involves working with advanced simulation tools, integrating system models, and ensuring simulator fidelity for operator training and engineering applications.
