About The Position
This is a full-time position in the Simulation Education Center, working the day shift from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Previous simulation experience is strongly preferred. The role involves preparing equipment and the environment for simulations, applying moulage to manikins, operating simulation equipment, assisting with maintenance and repairs, and maintaining an inventory of supplies. The position also requires developing a deeper knowledge of simulation methodology.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in lieu of a diploma/GED
Nice To Haves
- Previous simulation experience strongly preferred
- Associate's Degree in a related field of study
Responsibilities
- Prepares rooms and equipment for courses.
- Applies moulage to manikins and SPs when necessary.
- Operate simulation and AV equipment as assigned.
- Assists with regularly scheduled maintenance of center equipment.
- Make necessary supplies available for simulations.
- Maintain, organize and store required inventory of simulation supplies for center needs.
- Shadow simulations as appropriate.
- Shadow SP-focused trainings as appropriate.
- Complete assigned trainings related to simulation methodology and delivery.
- Participate in coordination of simulation events within department.
- Prepare, pilot and run manikin-based simulation scenarios.
- Provide AV support for SP-focused trainings as appropriate.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
