LifeGift is currently looking for a Simulation Technician. Do you possess the attributes to be a successful Simulation Technician and perform the following essential functions?

Requirements

High school diploma/GED required
one year of full-time, paid experience in the programming, operation, and maintenance of simulation based medical learning systems; or successful completion of a patient care simulator training program and one year of full-time, paid experience in direct patient care; or current valid certification in a health-related field such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and one year of full-time, paid experience in direct patient care.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a healthcare related field.
Working knowledge of medical terminology.
COVID VACCINATION REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE

Nice To Haves

associate degree preferred
Training and/or experience with patient simulation equipment and related multimedia equipment is desirable; or any equivalent combination of the above.

Responsibilities

Maintains mandatory daily SIM Center operational routines, including completion of a safety walkthrough, equipment checks, and start-up/shutdown procedures.
Prepares and sets up equipment and supplies for all simulation/training activities.
Provides pre-briefing, orientation, and tours of LIFT SIM Center for participants, faculty, and others.
Operates and troubleshoots all simulation and audio/video equipment.
Cleans, inventories, and maintains LIFT SIM Center supplies and equipment, including warranties.
Assists in simulation scenario piloting and ensures data collection systems are operational, if used.
