About The Position
The Simulation Technology Specialist provides technical and coordination support for simulation-based training. The role includes operational and technical support for mobile simulation operations, including preparing, maintaining, and repairing computerized manikins (software and hardware), task trainers, and related multimedia. The position has variable hours, with night shifts and weekends needed at times.
Requirements
- One year of experience in a related field.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field, or four additional years of experience in medical simulation in place of the degree requirement.
- Knowledge of computer hardware equipment and software applications, health simulation service, and audio-visual technologies.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, emergency medical services, nursing, and/or information technology.
Nice To Haves
- Expertise and experience in adult learning theory.
