The Boeing Company is seeking Entry-Level Simulation Software Test Engineers to join the B-52J CERP Simulation Software team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role supports the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering organization. The B-52J CERP program involves upgrading the B-52 with modern engines, avionics, and support equipment. The CERP Simulation Software team is responsible for enhancing the existing B-52 simulation software to support the simulation of new engine system components. These simulations are used to test flight software and hardware in a laboratory environment. The selected candidate will join an experienced team, with many colleagues to consult with and learn from. The role involves supporting the creation of test procedures using existing design documentation and primarily conducting laboratory tests of the simulation software on target hardware. Testing can be performed in the lab at a test station, remotely from the engineer’s desk, or in some circumstances, from home. The standard work schedule is 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, on site. Flexible shift options, including evenings, weekends, and remote work on an as-needed basis, are available to accommodate team needs, personal needs, and laboratory equipment availability.
