About The Position
Kodiak Robotics, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Simulation Intern to join their team and solve real-world robotics problems. The ideal candidates will have a can-do attitude, approach their work with vigor and determination, demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, and possess the ability to learn quickly within a fast-paced environment. Interns will work on autonomous trucks that are running in the real world, helping to advance the state-of-the-art autonomous trucking platform. They will gain experience working with C++ codebases and develop their coding skills on a production-level codebase in self-driving. Collaboration with other engineers on a day-to-day basis is expected, and candidates should be motivated by challenging problems without clear-cut solutions.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university.
- Juniors, Seniors, or graduate students.
- Experience working C++ codebases.
- Knowledge of robotics fundamentals.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with modern dev-ops, aws.
- Experience working within high-fidelity simulation frameworks.
- Knowledge of agent harnessing.
