About The Position

Trideum Corporation is seeking a Simulation Data & Analytics Engineer to design and implement automated data capture, telemetry processing, and analytics capabilities for advanced Army simulation and acquisition programs. The role develops distributed logging pipelines and visualization dashboards that convert complex network and simulation telemetry into actionable insights for tactical performance assessment and decision support. The engineer works with virtualized Digital Engineering Environment nodes, RF propagation models, and simulation middleware services, and collaborates with interdisciplinary engineering teams to refine instrumentation requirements, optimize telemetry flows, and support multi-lab federated exercises. The position requires minimal travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related STEM discipline.
  • At least 4 years of experience in telemetry extraction, distributed logging, network metric analytics, and dashboard development.
  • Proficiency with data processing tools, scripting languages, and visualization platforms such as Python, Pandas, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of network performance metrics, distributed systems behavior, and real-time data processing pipelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to design dashboards that translate technical telemetry into clear, decision-ready insights.
  • Active Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DoD modeling and simulation environments or tactical network instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with machine learning or statistical modeling for performance trend analysis.
  • Experience supporting CI/CD workflows, automated validation pipelines, or big-data platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer automated data collection pipelines for high-volume telemetry streams generated by distributed simulation environments.
  • Implement distributed logging frameworks to capture, normalize, and store system, network, and application-level metrics.
  • Develop analytics models and visualization dashboards to identify tactical network bottlenecks, latency patterns, packet-loss behaviors, and electronic warfare effects.
  • Produce data-driven performance metrics and reports supporting acquisition evaluations and system readiness assessments.
  • Integrate analytics components with virtualized Digital Engineering Environment nodes, RF propagation models, and simulation middleware services.
  • Ensure data quality, reproducibility, and traceability across simulation events and test cycles.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary engineering teams to refine instrumentation requirements, optimize telemetry flows, and support multi-lab federated exercises.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
  • 401(k) matching.
  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
  • Paid leave and the ability to cash out leave.
  • Free access to certified financial planners, wellness and support services, and discount programs.
