May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
  • Extensive technical expertise in applying engineering principles, concepts, theory, and practice to plan, execute, and coordinate work to meet established deadlines and resolve management and technical problems.
  • Advanced programming and software development skills for algorithm development, data visualization, and analysis (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C++, JavaScript), including experience developing custom algorithms and extensions for simulation and visualization environments.
  • Understanding of military CONOPS and multi-domain operations, with experience supporting mission-focused analysis and visualization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop engineering staff, including junior and early-career engineers, and to build talent pipelines and career progression pathways for technical teams.
  • Strong communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS clearance (SCI eligibility preferred).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience modeling ISR, autonomy, electronic warfare, or contested operations.
  • Background in software development best practices including version control (Git), Agile methodologies, testing, and documentation.
  • Experience with campaign-level analysis or wargaming.
  • Experience with advanced data science techniques and visualization frameworks.
  • Previous experience developing and mentoring operations analysts or similar technical roles.
  • Passionate about talent development and building high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage engineering teams in simulation-based algorithm development, data science, and visualization projects, ensuring technical, quality, business, and financial objectives are met.
  • Oversee data science and visualization for advanced aircraft projects using data sets generated by STK, AFSIM, and Command Professional Edition to reveal mission effectiveness and system performance insights.
  • Resolve complex engineering problems, act as a consulting technical resource, and apply advanced data visualization techniques.
  • Develop novel data-driven methods to clearly convey advanced designs and CONOPS.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and findings at engineering meetings, program reviews, and customer forums.
