Under the general supervision of the Pacific Health Care Collaborative (PHCC) director, performs duties related to the instruction of predoctoral students. Supports preclinical courses in the Department of Clinical Oral Healthcare through active participation in laboratory exercises; provide instructional material (lectures) to students on laboratory procedures and management. Produces and maintains training aids; coordinates the fabrication of stone cast for the preclinical courses. Provides logistic support in preclinical classes. Establishes and maintains quality assurance of all clinical cases entering and leaving the professional services laboratory; coordinates laboratory quality control according to established departmental policies and procedures. Maintains material safety data sheet/binder; updates the Environmental Health & Safety Specialist as needed. Aids students in troubleshooting clinical cases. Maintains accurate quality control records and provides an annual report. Performs all other duties as assigned by the Associate Dean, Clinical Affairs, Assistant Director and the Director of the PHCC.
