About The Position

Deer Valley Resort is seeking a Cook II for the Silver Spoon, an employee dining room, for the Summer 2026 season. This role is part of a winning team that provides classic, consistent quality. Deer Valley Resort is located in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in Park City. The Cook II will assist the sous chef with the preparation and presentation of daily menus, focusing on high-quality specials, soups, stews, and chilies.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen experience required
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Produce flavorful dishes adhering to production standards and time constraints
• Cook dishes according to recipes and develop new food selections in conjunction with the sous chef and executive chef
• Keep service lines clean, change pans as needed, and ensure food selections are well-stocked and appropriately garnished
• Properly store and rotate food to ensure freshness and avoid waste
• Completed daily inventories
• Assist servers during busy times
• Other duties as assigned
