Silk Screen Printer – Metal Manufacturing
About The Position
We are hiring a detail-oriented Silk Screen Printer to join a metal fabrication and manufacturing operation in Dover, PA. This hands-on production position is responsible for screen printing logos, labels, identification markings, graphics, and other specified artwork onto fabricated metal parts and components. The ideal candidate has experience with screen printing, silk screening, production printing, or manufacturing and takes pride in producing accurate, consistent work. Previous experience with industrial screen printing or printing on metal components is especially valuable. If you have worked as a screen printer, silk screen operator, screen print operator, production printer, or manufacturing technician and enjoy hands-on work where quality and attention to detail matter, we encourage you to apply.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to accurately position and align printed graphics and markings
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, specifications, and production documentation
- Ability to use basic measuring and inspection equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing or production team
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive production tasks
- Ability to safely lift and move materials and components as required
Nice To Haves
- Previous screen printing or silk screening experience preferred
- Industrial or manufacturing screen printing experience is a plus
- Experience screen printing on metal parts or components is a plus
- Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate screen printing equipment used to print on fabricated metal components and assemblies
- Prepare screens, inks, fixtures, and metal parts for production
- Position and align logos, labels, graphics, identification markings, and other artwork according to specifications
- Mix and maintain printing inks to achieve the required color and consistency
- Perform print setup and alignment to maintain accurate placement and consistent print quality
- Inspect metal parts before, during, and after the screen printing process
- Identify printing defects, alignment issues, material concerns, or equipment problems
- Perform masking, cleaning, preparation, and other pre-printing and post-printing operations
- Read and follow basic blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, customer specifications, and production instructions
- Use basic measuring and inspection equipment as needed
- Maintain clean and organized screen printing equipment and work areas
- Meet production schedules while maintaining established quality standards
- Follow manufacturing safety procedures and quality requirements
- Assist with other production and finishing responsibilities as needed
