Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
  • Utilizing data analysis to evaluate memory sub-system performance
  • Automating design space exploration and optimizing performance of electronic components
  • C, C++, or Python
  • CPU, GPU, or SoC architecture
  • Data Structures and Algorithms, Data Analytics, or Machine Learning

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, and/or test electronic components and systems for semiconductor and related device manufacturing.
  • Perform definition, design, verification, review, and/or documentation for ASIC development.
  • Determine architecture design, logic design, and/or system simulation.
  • Define module interfaces/formats for simulation.
  • Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits.
  • Work in an area of specialization to develop ASIC/layout design where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Develop ML-driven automation to explore large design spaces and identify optimal circuit and memory subsystem configurations.
  • Analyze large-scale simulation data to evaluate latency, throughput, bandwidth, and performance metrics of memory and interconnect components.
  • Build predictive performance models for early-cycle design validation.
  • Run data driven diagnosis to detect the possible cause of the issue and work with design teams to develop solutions.
  • Apply statistical methods to analyze the latency and throughput of circuits, ensuring that the design meets specifications and performance criteria.
  • Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment, as well as knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles.
  • Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various AMD products.
