Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • SOC/system architecture
  • RTL Design/coding
  • Verilog / VHDL
  • System Verilog
  • Functional verification of microprocessors
  • ASIC design tools (synthesis, simulation, equivalence checking, static timing analysis)
  • Design flows and methodologies used for chip verification
  • Front-End EDA tools
  • Unix/Linux environments
  • C/C++, SV, UVM, and Python
  • CPU architecture
  • Object Oriented design
  • Formal verification
  • Post-silicon validation

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, and/or test electronic components and systems for semiconductor and related device manufacturing, employing knowledge of electronic theory.
  • Perform definition, design, verification, and/or documentation for ASIC development.
  • Determine architecture design, logic design, and/or system simulation.
  • Define module interfaces/formats for simulation.
  • Working as a member of a cross geographic pre-silicon verification team to verify a next generation AI engine.
  • Working with design, architecture team to verify micro-architecture and design across multiple platforms.
  • Responsible for a comprehensive verification plan and drive the implementation of verification test cases from applications and other sources.
  • Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits.
  • Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
  • Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Under supervision, exercise limited judgment within defined company procedures and practices to select methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment, as well as knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles.
  • Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices.
