Requirements

  • Ability to read, interpret, and decipher general written instructions from documents such as work orders, parts orders, safety regulations, operating procedures, or other job specific written documents
  • Ability to speak and communicate effectively with fellow employees
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
  • Occasionally required to remain in a stationary position
  • Keen attention to detail and color
  • Frequently handles products including print materials
  • Frequently required to move inside the facility
  • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

Responsibilities

  • Quality Inspect for color, size, fit, and quantity.
  • Apply product to framework, take photographs, label, and organize work for shipments.
  • Packaging graphics, frames and accessories to ensure quality delivery to customers.
  • Data entry of delivery instructions into UPS and FedEx software systems for shipment.
  • Stack, pack, and transport printed materials in various stages of completion on pallets and crates.
  • Perform various hand operations such as applying labels to products, cut, wrap products, use tape dispensers and the use of feet for flexion/repetitive motion as in operating foot controls.
  • Responsible for reading and following specific job instructions to produce an order according to specifications on job tickets.
  • Prioritize and manage daily work to be completed on time for shipping requirements.
  • Requisition inventory needed for daily assignments and assist in maintaining department inventory through cycle counting and material usage.
  • Maintain attendance according to facility guidelines as well as be able to work constructively with co-workers, supervisors, vendors while performing daily responsibilities.
  • Ability and willingness to train across departments and assist where needed.
  • Follow safety rules, procedures and standards.
  • Duties may occasionally be performed while seated but will likely be performed while standing.
