About The Position

Reporting to the Signal Superintendent or Foreman, the Signalman performs all necessary installations, inspections, tests, and maintenance as required. Requirements

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
• Three (3) years of recent related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Railway or construction experience would be an asset
• Previous electronics training would be an asset

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks as necessary
• Assist in groundwork installations, wiring & testing
• Maintain tools and equipment in ready-for-service condition
• Perform all periodic inspection and tests as per railway and RailWorks standards
• Comply with railway and RailWorks safe work practices and signal work procedures
• Perform all administrative duties related to proper documentation as per RailWorks Quality Management System
