Leidos is actively seeking talented candidates for an exciting Signals Development Specialist position at Offutt AFB, NE — a role at the heart of some of the most critical intelligence missions in the enterprise. A current TS/SCI with polygraph is required to be considered. As a Signals Development Specialist, you’ll bring your formal signals analysis training and understanding of Air Force Air Force organizational structure and the role the Air Force plays in the larger enterprise. Your expertise truly matters as you’ll shape insights that influence real‑world operations.

Requirements

  • Current TS/SCI with polygraph on day one
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of analysis experience in a technical field equivalent (451/452-course graduate highly desired). Additional related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience providing analytic support for the development of new capabilities against both known and newly identified targets.
  • Possess understanding of the intelligence cycle, policy and guidance, the organizational structure, mission, and external and internal relationships.
  • Able to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing.
  • Able to quickly assimilate disparate data, render knowledgeable, accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations, based upon mature judgment and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Execute bit stream analysis and report findings using the UNIX /Linux operating-based system.
  • Attend integrated product team meetings, technical interchanges, planning meetings, and providing computer engineering support as required.
  • Create visual displays conveying situational awareness and engagement effectiveness assessments.
  • Prepare technical reports to analysts and operators to educate them how to recognize changes in operational environment likely to cause mission success or failure
  • Research targets to acquire, compile analysis, and retain appropriate target information.
  • Assist in providing weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports on results of analysis.
  • Engage with external and internal offices regarding mission execution, to include having a foundational knowledge on tasking requirements.
