About The Position

The National Solutions Division at Leidos has an opening for a Signals Intelligence Analyst at our customer location in Alice Springs, Australia. The successful candidate has strong analytical skills and is a problem solver. The candidate will be required to understand collections, platform capabilities, signal processing dataflows, and analytic methodologies. This position is a 12-hour rotating shift working days, nights, weekends and holidays aligned with the operations shift schedule.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Active and Current TS/SCI with Poly and U.S. Citizenship
  • Proven experience and proficiency with one or more signals intelligence disciplines and technical understanding of signal characteristics
  • Knowledge or experience performing satellite mission support in a real-time or near-real time operations environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and constructively with leaders across the site
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in multiple types of signals intelligence collection or technical work at customer sites
  • Experience with specialized IC signals tasking, collection, exploitation, analysis, and mapping tools
  • Knowledge of mission-specific customer requirements and intelligence oversight policies
  • Experience at customer location in Australia

Responsibilities

  • Analyze signals in digital domains to determine structure, parameters, content, and purpose
  • Coordinate and collaborate with teammates, customers, and external stake holders to ensure timely and accurate signals processing
  • Build mission-oriented situational awareness products in response to Intelligence Community requirements
  • Use complex software to accomplish tasks to protect national assets in a multi-INT environment
  • Disseminate data in the community standard format to the appropriate customers in the timeframe defined by the customer
  • Create processing models and scripts to report technical characteristics
  • Search for new and unusual signal activity associated with events and forward this information to the designated community entities as necessary
  • Perform efficiently under dynamic conditions and navigate continually evolving priorities
  • facilitate reliable and consistent mission application in a complex operational environment
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions
