About The Position

This role involves identifying system vulnerabilities and attacks, comparing attack techniques, developing countermeasures, and producing reports and briefings on actual and potential attacks against studied technologies. The position requires a deep understanding of SIGINT subdisciplines, modern RF and communication technologies, and various software tools.

Requirements

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required
Minimum of four (4) years of experience and a Doctoral degree or six (6) years of relevant experience and a Master's degree or eight (8) years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or ten (10) years of relevant experience and an Associate's degree required.
A high school diploma or GED plus 12 years of experience, or an Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience will be considered for those who have completed relevant military degree programs (or equivalent), OR who have completed relevant military training for example: Navy Intermediate Technical ELINT Analyst, Air Force Intermediate Technical ELINT Analyst, 451/461 Intermediate Signals Analysis, 452 Advanced Signals Analysis, Military COMINT Signals Analysis Program (MCSAP), Military ELINT Signals Analysis Program (MESAP), Military OpELINT Signals Analysis Program (MOSAP)
Background knowledge and experience in SIGINT subdisciplines: COMINT (Communication Externals/COMEXT), ELINT, and Network/Protocol analysis.
Familiar with modern RF and communication technologies
Familiar with discovery mission and techniques
Familiar with collection and tasking flow
Proficient in software tools: SEDB, THRESHER, WIRESHARK
Experience in working in collaborative environment with various external partners
Background in tradecraft and analytic development

Responsibilities

Identify vulnerabilities of and attacks to the design and operation of a system (H/W, S/W, personnel, procedures, logistics, and physical security) by relating vulnerabilities and attacks to effects on the operations and missions supported by those systems
Compare and contrast various system attack techniques and develop operationally effective countermeasures
Produce formal and informal reports, briefings, and perspectives of actual and potential attacks against the technologies being studied
