About The Position

The technician is responsible for conducting diagnostic testing for repairs, locating utilities, and installing traffic control for work zones. They are responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of traffic signals, as well as highway lighting systems, school zone flashers, and trail crossing signals.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of traffic signal operations.
• IMSA CERTIFIED Level II OR verifiable experience.
• Extreme professionalism and customer service.
• Able to work under pressure and multitask.
• Knowledgeable about manufacturers of controllers.

Responsibilities

• On call for service calls and dispatch.
• Civil Defense Siren Maintenance.
• On call emergency response (i.e. storm damage, vehicle damage to equipment, etc.) and after-hours trouble calls.
• Assist any issues with signal boxes.
• Schedule and dispatch signal tech small jobs day and night.
• Analyze and solve any issues technicians cannot handle.
• Provide signal information for Project Managers and Vice President.
• Perform equipment repairs.
