About The Position

Leidos tackles the most challenging national defense problems using advanced signal processing algorithms and data analytics. At our San Diego, CA office, we have a dedicated and experienced team of Scientists and Engineers devoted to squeezing the last bit of information from every data set. We seek a Signal Processing Technical Intern with an interest in algorithm research, development, and implementation, who also possesses a strong scientific curiosity and desire to learn new things. Requirements

Junior or senior in college working towards a degree in physics, engineering, mathematics, or related field.
Experience in MATLAB, Python, or similar high-level language.
Good analytical and mathematical skills.
Interest in scientific algorithm development, large dataset analysis, radar detection and characterization, and efficient software implementation.
Interest in innovation, problem solving, and achieving technical results.
Ability and desire to learn new concepts.
Ability to obtain a Top-Secret Security Clearance.
U.S. Citizenship required.
