About The Position

The Signal Processing Engineer in Communications will focus on a variety of technical tasks to solve difficult problems in their field. The right engineer will provide technical expertise in the areas of Signal Processing Algorithms, Electronic Warfare, Anti-Jam, datalink vulnerability assessment, and communications architecture. Summit TRC is designed to enable our people to become the best engineers in the room.

Requirements

• US Citizen with an active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelors degree in a relevant technical field
• 5+ years of experience solving problems and building in Signal Processing, Communications Engineering, or Electronic Warfare
• Experience in Communications waveform modulation theory
• Experience with Spread LPD waveforms
• Experience in Signal detection theory
• Experience with Cyclo-stationary feature analysis
• Experience with Object Oriented MATLAB programming
• Experience in Algorithm development
• Experience with RF concepts
• Experience with Data Links (Networked/Multi-access, Common, or Digital)
• Experience with EW detectors/jammers

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in the areas of Signal Processing Algorithms, Electronic Warfare, Anti-Jam, datalink vulnerability assessment, and communications architecture.
• Solve difficult problems in their field.
• Build and protect advanced communications systems for the warfighter.
