About The Position

This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. HII works within our nation’s intelligence and cyber operations communities to defend our interests in cyberspace and anticipate emerging threats. Our capabilities in cybersecurity, network architecture, reverse engineering, software and hardware development uniquely enable us to support sensitive missions for the U.S. military and federal agency partners. HII Mission Technologies Division (HII-MT) is seeking a Signal Processing Engineer with the ability to analyze large data sets. This position is located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio and is within a commutable distance from Beavercreek, Fairborn, Dayton, and Riverside.

Requirements

Implement or maintain signal processing algorithms written in C/C++, Python or MATLAB
5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance with enhanced security checks
Secret clearance minimum to start work

Responsibilities

Analyze large data sets
Develop system concepts and signal processing algorithms
Work as part of a small team to architect, develop, implement signal processing algorithms
Modeling and simulation of signal processing algorithms.
