About The Position

Expedition Technology (EXP) is hiring a full-time, onsite summer 2027 intern to work with engineers on digital signal processing, deep learning, and Radio Frequency Machine Learning. The intern will work with real-time machine learning systems using streaming, real-world RF data and develop algorithms for GPU-accelerated signal analysis in areas such as communications and radar. The role also involves implementing and integrating signal-processing solutions, using modern DevOps and MLOps tools, and collaborating with teams on data pipelines, model training, and analysis. The internship is based at EXP headquarters in Herndon, Virginia, lasts through Summer 2027, and pays $35.00 per hour for 40 hours per week. EXP designs and delivers technology for defense and intelligence customers, using machine learning, artificial intelligence, and other advanced algorithms to address C4ISR challenges. The company describes its culture as collaborative and supportive, with opportunities for individual growth and creative problem-solving.
