About The Position
The Sign Production Manager is responsible for key steps in the sign-making process, including operating a laminator, cutting substrates, weeding and preparing vinyl, and applying graphics. Work is performed both in the office and onsite at client locations. The role also involves driving to locations and potentially delivering signage. The ideal candidate is organized, self-sufficient, attentive to detail, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in vinyl sign creation and application.
- Vinyl installation certification.
- Experience with large-format digital printing.
Responsibilities
- Prepare base materials for vinyl application.
- Weed, tape, and prepare vinyl for application.
- Apply vinyl signs to base materials and at onsite locations.
- Drive to locations and possibly deliver signage.
- Remain up to date on sign-making best practices and techniques.
