About The Position

Warehouse Sign out Control is responsible for maintaining records and ensuring proper documentation and tracking of finished goods, work-in-progress (WIP), and materials stored in freezer.

Requirements

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
• On the job training.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to follow verbal instructions from supervisor.
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Analytical skills and attention to minor details.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to use a scanner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory of finished goods, WIP and open boxes in the freezer.
• Ensure that all products that go into the freezer are labeled and have proper scanning tag attached for shipment, or ticket for WIP.
• Report all pallet differences between production and warehouse documentation to the Production and Warehouse Supervisor.
• This position allows time to help where needed and it is not limited to the above-mentioned.
• Maintain work area Clean, organized, and presentable for Weekly Gemba Walks and Yearly Audits.
