SIGN LANGUAGE AIDE-SHADOW RIDGE HS
About The Position
This position is for a Sign Language Aide at Shadow Ridge High School. The assignment is for 9 months, with 6 hours per day, in a one-on-one program. Candidates must possess signing abilities as determined by a CCSD-approved test and will be required to complete this test prior to their start date. Additionally, a current CPR/AED certificate from an approved organization is required and must be maintained throughout the assignment. Certification training must be in-person with a hands-on component; online courses are not accepted. Specific documented evidence of training and experience is also required.
Requirements
- High school graduation or other equivalent (General Educational Development [GED], foreign equivalency, etc.).
- Signing abilities as determined by a CCSD-approved test.
- Current CPR/AED certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or other similar organization.
- Certification must be maintained for duration of assignment.
- Certification training must be in-person and include a hands-on component.
- High school transcript or other equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
- Current CCSD signing abilities certificate, if already acquired.
- Current CPR/AED certificate as indicated above.
- Specific documented evidence of training and experience to satisfy qualifications.
