About The Position

Artisan Direct is seeking an independent contractor to place and pick up temporary weekend signs in the Lowell Heights community in the Everett, Washington area. The work recurs each weekend and must be completed within specified time windows: install signs between Friday at 5:00 PM and Saturday at 10:00 AM, and pick up those same signs between Sunday at 6:00 PM and Monday at 8:00 AM. Contractors may choose when to work within those windows, provided all signs are placed and removed by the applicable deadlines.

The signs are lightweight corrugated plastic mounted on wooden stakes. Artisan Direct supplies the signs and stakes, including replacement inventory as needed. The contractor uses Artisan Direct’s mobile application to report installations and pickups, stores the signs and extra stakes safely during the week, and submits a weekly invoice and orders replacement inventory through the company website after pickup.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not employment with Artisan Direct. Contractors provide their own vehicle and mobile device, determine their driving order, and are responsible for fuel, expenses, taxes, and insurance. Contractors may accept or decline routes but must complete any route they accept. No benefits, minimum hours, or employment guarantees are offered. Starting compensation is $82.50 per weekend, paid by direct deposit every two weeks. A $20 signing bonus and a $100 bonus after four weeks of completed work are also offered. Additional routes may be offered as more work becomes available.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Have a reliable vehicle with enough space to transport 30 or more signs.
• Have an Android or iPhone smartphone, roughly four years old or newer, capable of running the mobile application.
• Be able to lift and place signs and work outdoors.
• Be able to hammer stakes 6–8 inches into the ground during the first weekend only.
• Be dependable and able to complete routes within the required weekend time windows.
• Provide your own vehicle and mobile device, and pay your own fuel, expenses, taxes, and insurance.

Responsibilities
