About The Position
Onsite Sign is seeking a full-time Sign Installation & Service Technician Apprentice for their Calgary Branch. Onsite Sign is a leading sign manufacturing company in Western Canada with installation divisions in Calgary, Acheson, Regina, and Saskatoon.
Requirements
- Strong verbal & written communication skills.
- Experience using manual & power tools.
- Fluent with computers and handheld devices.
- The ability to lift up to approx. 50 lbs.
- Able to work at heights (in excess of 15feet)
- Experience working in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, trustworthy & flexible.
- Must have a VALID 3 or 5 Driver's Licence, clean abstract, and reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Safety certification in Fall Protection, Aerial Lift, Cargo Securement, Hours of Service is an asset - training is provided if needed
Responsibilities
- Ability to read & understand drawings related to sign installation.
- Inspection of freight.
- Loading/securing materials & hauling experience.
- Assist with servicing & troubleshooting signs.
- Consistently demonstrate sound safety practices and completion of required safety documentation.
